asiaticoside, along with madecassoside and asiatic acid, are the primary bioactive compounds in Centella Taiwan. These compounds modulates NF-κB and COX-2 inflammatory pathways, stabilizes hepatocyte membranes and supports liver regeneration, promotes tissue regeneration and modulates local inflammation.
