combretastatin, along with tannins and flavonoids, are the primary bioactive compounds in Combretum Molle. These compounds modulates NF-κB and COX-2 inflammatory pathways, disrupts microbial cell membranes and inhibits pathogen growth, promotes tissue regeneration and modulates local inflammation.
