Cordyceps sinensis, also known as Ophiocordyceps sinensis or 'winter worm-summer grass', is a highly valued medicinal fungus used in traditional Tibetan and Chinese medicine [PMID:24716152, PMID:29371523].
Contexte
It is an entomogenous, endoparasitic fungus that parasitizes the larvae of moths (Lepidoptera) [PMID:29371523, PMID:32288794, PMID:25704018]. It is primarily found on the Tibetan Plateau and in the Himalayan region [PMID:30394122, PMID:39331691].
