Sideritis scardica (Lamiaceae family) is an endemic species from the mountainous regions of the Balkan Peninsula [PMID:38202787, 24487281]. It is also referred to as 'mountain tea' or 'Olympus tea' [PMID:38202787].

Traditionally consumed as a tea in the Balkans to strengthen the body, improve mood, and treat respiratory issues such as bronchitis, bronchial asthma, common cold, and lung emphysema [PMID:32824863, 24487281].
